Day Away
A Respite Care Program for Adults with Beginning Stages of Alzheimer’s

This past year, Ron and Fran Olson visited the Plymouth Council to inform us about their program. They explain in their mission that they provide a period of respite for the caregivers of eligible individuals in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease or related type of dementia by providing a social daycare program. This could be a great relief for those who are working to give constant care of patients. Seeing these issues effecting so many people including those within our council, the Knights could easily relate and knew that they should offer support as much as they could. The Holy Family Council donated $200.00 to assist in expenses.

The Day Away Program currently works at Our Lady of Grace Chapel, 2 West Shore Rd, Bristol, NH. feel free to contact at 603 744-6828 or franeolson@gmail.com.
